UK Based Remote | £28,000–£32,000 per year | Full Time | Overseas travel involved

Adventure Skills Online is looking for a highly capable Editor / Videographer to help us produce engaging, high-quality online courses for people who want to develop their skills in the outdoors.

This is a hands-on creative role, combining location filming with the editing and production of our main lessons and course content. You’ll work closely with coaches, guides and contributors to turn their knowledge into clear, professional and inspiring learning experiences.

What you’ll be doing

• Filming and editing high-quality video content for online outdoor skills courses

• Creating engaging course lessons, supporting content and promotional assets

• Working with coaches and subject experts to plan, structure and bring lessons to life

• Editing in Final Cut Pro, from initial assembly through to final delivery

• Colour grading footage, mastering audio and creating motion graphics where needed

• Managing and organising media, project files and delivery workflows while working remotely

• Travelling within the UK and overseas to film in a range of mountain and adventure environments

• Helping maintain a consistent visual style and high production standard across the platform

What we’re looking for

• Strong, proven experience using Final Cut Pro

• Excellent editing instincts, with a portfolio that demonstrates high-quality storytelling and pacing

• Experience filming adventure sports or working in demanding outdoor environments

• Confident colour grading, audio mastering and motion-graphics skills

• A genuine interest in climbing, mountaineering and mountain environments, ideally backed by a high level of personal experience

• Kayaking experience and familiarity with paddlesport environments

• An understanding of how people learn, with the ability to help structure content into clear, useful lessons

• Coaching, instructing or educational-content experience would be a real advantage

• Strong self-management, communication and organisation skills for remote working

• A flexible, practical approach to travel, changing conditions and location-based shoots
